This is the application process for selection to training into one of the WA BPT Networks and eligible WACHS sites for 2025.

Please note: The application process has changed for the 2025 Selection to Training.

Summary of Changes

  • Applicants must be at least PGY2 in order to apply (to commence training as a PGY3).
  • Applicants holding an offer or contract of employment for the 2025 clinical year with Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, and Kalgoorlie sites within the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) are eligible to apply for BPT training.
  • Current trainees seeking to continue within the same network are now permitted to submit a shorter application through a separate process. Advert link and details will be provided directly to continuing applicants via email.
  • The WA BPT Network supports and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Additional application marks are available for these applicants as part of a commitment to growing this workforce.
