2025 WA Service Surgical Registrar Recruitment

EXTENDED!  

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full-Time, Fixed Term Part-Time SSR appointments for the 2025 clinical year commencing 03 February 2025 and ending 01 February 2026.

 

Salary: MP Year 1-7 $138,728- $185,586 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation* and professional development allowance) *as at 1 July 2024

*JHC is part of Ramsay Health Care. Employment terms and conditions are contained within the Ramsay Health Care Employment Agreement and may differ from WA Health hospitals.

The centralised recruitment process allows applicants to submit ONE application to cover THREE site and specialty preferences for employment as an SSR with the participating WA health service employers/sites listed below.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 1 October 2024.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancies, it may also be used to fill other ‘similar’ vacancies throughout participating employers. In addition, should a successful applicant decline or forfeit an offer, their applications will return to the recruitment pool and other suitable applicants can be considered for the vacancy.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for an SSR position, you must provide evidence you:

  • Are eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia*;
  • Are eligible to work in Australia. Evidence of valid Australian citizenship, permanent residency, temporary residency (or eligibility to obtain) and/or a relevant visa must be provided prior to commencement; and
  • Can demonstrate that you have the qualifications, essential skills and experience required for the position, as described in the job description form, and (separate) application selection criteria.

NOTE: applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be considered ineligible and therefore not progress.
