We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultants to join our team at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

This is a recruitment pool for sessional, fixed term full time, and fixed term part time appointments.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, in this role you will:

  • provide specialist medical/surgical services to patients
  • promote patient safety and quality of care
  • provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers as appropriate
  • work in collaboration with the Medical Director/Service Director/Head of Department/Head of Specialty and other Consultants to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
