Fellow - Respiratory (Lung Cancer Interventional Pulmonology)

Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments will be available for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 03/08/2025.

Position Profile:
This position offers a year of experience in all aspects of the lung cancer and interventional pulmonology service. Candidates will fill a pivotal role in organising and implementing investigation and initial management of patients with thoracic cancer, the assessment of central airway and pleural disorders, and gain competence in a wide range of interventional pulmonology procedures. It is suitable for candidates who have completed their core respiratory training.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
