Salary: Registrar Year 1 to Senior Registrar Year 2 $145,318 - $222,412 (p.a. inclusive of salary, 11.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance)

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 04/12/2025.
Position Profile:
We are seeking to appoint an Interventional Endoscopy Registrar or Senior Registrar to our Gastroenterology Department at Royal Perth Hospital. In this role you will have the opportunity of undertaking training on interventional endoscopy and in particular ERCP and EUS. Opportunities also exist to be trained in EMR and other advanced interventional procedures. You will be required to promote high quality patient centred care to inpatients and outpatients of the Gastroenterology Service, under the supervision of consultants and within a multi-disciplinary team to review the medical needs of the patients. You will assist with teaching and support to Resident Medical Officers and Interns.
*Please note, this position is not suitable as an avenue for ‘top up’ training or for overseas trainees or specialists. This position is designed for advanced trainees in Gastroenterology or Specialist Physicians with FRACP (Gastroenterology).
