Position Profile
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced medical professional with a passion for education, mentorship, and leadership to join our team as the Director Paediatric education – Advanced Training. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of paediatric healthcare in Western Australia.
You will work closely with the Director of Post Graduate Medical Education (PGME) to implement and enhance paediatric training across Western Australia and collaborate with your peers in sharing responsibilities such as supervision, career guidance, support for international medical graduates, research facilitation, and trainee wellbeing.
You will Lead, coordinate, and oversee the Advanced Training Program in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Subspecialties at CAHS, ensuring training program aligns with Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) curriculum standards, accreditation requirements, and hospital policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with trainees, supervisors, and healthcare administrators and extensive experience in paediatric education and training.
A Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is required for this role.
