Registrar – (Advanced) Trainee – Paediatrics – Community Health
Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointment(s) for 6 months with possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 28/11/2025.
Position Profile:
This position is for Registrars interested in gaining experience in developmental paediatrics. Successful Registrar will undertake paediatric developmental and medical assessment services to clients of community health as part of the Child Development Service. The position works in accordance with the Child & Adolescent Health Service core values of Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, Accountability, Equity and Respect.

Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.

Although not essential, preference will be given to Registrars that show a strong interest in developmental paediatrics, as evidenced by prior experience and/or intention to apply to the Royal Australian College of Physicians Advanced Training program in Community Child Health or Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine program.
