Senior Registrar (Fellow) - Neonates
Position Profile and Role:
Neonatology cares for the sickest newborn babies, infants who are born preterm and babies requiring specialist treatment in their first months of life. Successful applicants will have the skills to manage inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under the supervision of Neonatology Specialists. We have Neonatal Units across two sites, the Perinatal Centre - King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH); and the surgical centre - Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Additionally, we have the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) WA located at Perth Children’s Hospital.
These positions are on a shift-based roster, to provide a 24-hour/7-day service, including after-hours shifts. Applications will be considered for Fixed-Term Full Time positions for 12-24 months with the possibility of extension(s). Part-Time requests will be considered on individual basis.
