Salary: MP Year 1-7 $145,318 - $194,401 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation and professional development allowance) 

Please note this is for the 2026 Acute Medical Unit (Short Term Specialist Trainee) Registrar intake.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 or 24 months commencing February 2026.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025. 


Position Profile: 
Provision of safe, high quality medical care, as a Medical Registrar in a Short-Term Specialist Trainee role, to patients admitted to the Acute Medical Unit at Royal Perth Hospital.  Works under the supervision of the Acute Medicine Physicians and within a multidisciplinary team.   

International Medical graduates who are qualified specialists or well progressed within their training with a commitment to providing high quality medical care are invited to apply.

There are positions, training under the auspices of the Royal Australian College of Physicians for up to 24 months available.
