Perth Children's Hospital

Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) is Western Australia’s specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, providing medical care to children and adolescents who are 15 years old or under.

PCH provides treatment for the most serious medical cases, as well as secondary services including inpatient, outpatient and day-stay care.

Mental Health

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Western Australia provides support, advice, and treatment for young people and their families dealing with mental health issues, with referrals coming from therapists, specialists, GPs, schools, or community organizations. CAMHS offers recovery-focused programs in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit for those under 16 and various community and specialized services for children up to 18 years old. Services are available both in the community and inpatient hospital settings, allowing consumers and their carers to receive comprehensive care from multiple areas.

Community Health

Child and Adolescent Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.

These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.
