Fellow - Burns

Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group
To undergo comprehensive training in the management of both adult and paediatric burns. This fellowship is for a surgeon interested in developing burns as a sub-specialty interest after completion of their higher plastic surgery training. This is an academic unit and research will be encouraged, along with involvement in post-graduate educational activities. The fellow will be involved in the management of major burns out-of-hours. Long-term follow-up and reconstructive surgery in adults and children who have had burn injuries will form a regular part of the fellow’s timetable.

Fellow - Pain Management

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
This position has been designed for Pain Medicine trainees in the Professional Development Year of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FPMANZCA) to consolidate their knowledge in preparation for practicing as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. There is a focus on further strengthening skills in Interventional Pain Medicine, collaborative multi-disciplinary management of complex quaternary pain patients, co-ordinating and leading the Multi-disciplinary team and providing teaching opportunities for junior medical staff. It is a full-time position at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Pain Management Unit.
