Registrars in WA Health take on increasing responsibility for patient care, supervision of junior staff, and participation in multidisciplinary teams. Depending on your role, you may be:

  • Gaining advanced clinical experience in service registrar positions, often while preparing for entry into formal training programs.
  • Contributing to teaching and leadership, including supervising interns and RMOs, and participating in quality improvement projects.
  • Undertaking College-accredited specialty training (e.g., Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and many others).
