This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full-Time, Fixed Term Part-Time Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and Service Medical Registrar (SMR) appointments, commencing in 2026.

RMO Year 1 - 3: $117, 825 - $139, 968*

Registrar Year 1 - 7: $151, 391 - $202, 544*

*Inclusive of superannuation (12% effective 1 July 2025) and professional development allowance as per WA Health System - Medical Practitioners - AMA Industrial Agreement 2024.

Who Can Apply?

✔ Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
✔ At least 6 months of procedural and clinical experience as a registered medical practitioner in an Australian hospital (or comparable setting) within the last 3 years (list of comparable settings are in the attached Application Guide).

If you are unable to meet the minimum eligibility criteria, your application will not progress further through the process.

Suitable candidates will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 26 September 2025. Preferred contract lengths of up to 36 months can be negotiated, with the possibility of extension, at the discretion of the employer.
