We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Palliative Care Registrars for two (2) Fixed Term Full Time six-month opportunities in 2027, with one position commencing on 1 February 2027 and the second commencing on 2 August 2027, with the possibility of extension(s).
Position Profile:
The Palliative Care Registrar position is a full time 6-months opportunity based at the Bunbury Regional Hospital, in the South West of Western Australia. The position is accredited by RACP, ACRRM and RACGP for six months training and overseen by palliative care physicians.
The Palliative Care consult team involves a registrar and clinical nurse consultant working closely across the emergency, general medical, surgical and rehabilitation wards to ensure high quality palliative care provision for the patients and families. The position involves inpatient consults, working in a multidisciplinary team, participation in research and education, plus coordination of services and planning for ongoing care across hospitals and community.
