This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
There are two separate positions
Both positions are for 12 months, from 2nd February 2026.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 05/12/2025.
Position Profile:
We are seeking to appoint two Fellows to our Trauma Service. Both positions are fully accredited with the ANZAST and GSA PFET Program in Trauma Surgery. In this role you will provide a high-quality clinical service to hospital patients and promote high quality patient centred care to inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of consultants and within the multi-disciplinary team caring for the injured patient. The position is also tasked with key responsibilities in assisting the management of the Registrars and Junior Medical Officers in the Service, educational activities both within the Service and the Hospital, and participation in the safety and quality processes as well as trauma related research.

The RPH Trauma Unit is a Level 1 centre and the second busiest by volume in Australia which is supported by 5 full time trauma surgeons.
