Registrar Service Medical Education - Rural Physician Training Pathway - Expression of Interest
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Registrars Medical Education for a Fixed Term Part Time opportunity at 32 hours per fortnight for 6 months commencing on 4th August 2025, with the possibility of extension(s). This position is based in Central Office, Perth.
POSITION PROFILE
The Medical Education Registrar role is responsible for leading, promoting and supporting the development of medical education relevant to Physician training within the WA Country Health Service and the WA Rural Physician Training Pathway (WA RPTP). This includes developing, implementing and evaluating innovative education models, programs and strategies directed towards supporting rural Physician training, in conjunction with the WA RPTP central coordinating unit and local-based Physician educators, supervisors and directors.
This position will also work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and administer the WA RPTP including supporting accreditation, training program, and reporting requirements.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must hold General Registration with the Australian Medical Board, and have at least six months experience working in Australia or a Competent Authority country. Applicants must also be progressing towards attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
