This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/01/2026.
Appointments for this position are anticipated to commence starting in February and August 2026.
Candidates with current AHPRA registration will be prioritised for the initial appointments.
Salary: SMO Year 1-9 $120,492 - $185,418 p.a.
Position Profile:
Perth Children’s Hospital is seeking suitable applications for Supervised Medical Officers to join the CAHS Mental Health Inpatient Unit. The position is responsible for the management, under supervision, of psychiatric inpatients admitted for ongoing care in the mental health inpatient unit.
Area Profile:
Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.
