Advance Your Career with the WA Rural Pathway for Emergency Medicine (WARPEM)

Hosted by the WA Country Health Service, the WA Rural Pathway for Emergency Medicine (WARPEM) is a coordinated training pathway for junior doctors seeking to build a long-term career in rural emergency medicine while working towards Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. WARPEM provides a streamlined training experience, enabling trainees to spend the majority of their training in rural settings while gaining the skills, support and clinical exposure needed for successful specialist qualification.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Hold, or have submitted an eligible application for a WACHS Registrar contract for 2027; and

✅ Are a current FACEM Training Program trainee, or

✅ Have submitted an eligible application for acceptance in the 2027 training year
