Registrar - Trainee - Pulmonary Physiology & Sleep Medicine

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 02/11/2026. Appointments for this position will not commence until 2027.

Salary: MP Year 1-7 $128,760 - $175,802 p.a. (plus 12% superannuation and professional development allowance)


Position Profile:
The Registrar - Trainee - Pulmonary Physiology & Sleep Medicine provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients of the Department and assesses acute patients in the Emergency Department, prescribes treatment and decides on suitability for admission. The Registrar is also required to participate in after hours and weekend rosters and in peer review and quality improvement activities/seminars. This position is accredited by the RACP for training in Sleep Medicine.
