Fellow - Reproductive Medicine & Infertility
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2026.
Position Profile:
As part of the recruitment cycle for the senior registrar pool for 2026, FSH is offering 1.0 FTE for an Unaccredited Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Fellowship. The position is provided in affiliation with Monash IVF, where the fellow will gain knowledge and skills in the management of patients with delayed fertility. The fellow will be expected to assist fertility specialists in regular theatre sessions and contribute to clinical and research duties at Monash IVF under the direct supervision of Dr Tamara Hunter, WA Monash IVF Medical Director.
In addition, the fellow is expected to contribute to the daily roster and duties at Fiona Stanley Hospital at the level of a senior registrar (please see JDF). The preferred candidate will be a RANZCOG advanced trainee or hold a FRANZCOG with an interest in pursuing a career in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. Further conditions for this position include:
a. Unaccredited Fellow eligibility — This position is only available to candidates who have completed their core and advanced training, or who hold a FRANZCOG, or who have been deemed suitable for a fellowship by the Head of Department.
b. Accredited Fellow eligibility — Accreditation can only be achieved if the candidate has successfully obtained a RANZCOG CREI training number.
c. If condition (a) is not met, this CREI role will be classified as a Senior Registrar (Unaccredited) position.
