This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full-Time appointments for 6 or 12 months. Part-Time appointment can be considered.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.

Salary: MP Year 1-7 $155,932 to $208,619 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation and professional development allowance at 3 September 2026)


Position Profile: 
The WA Inter-hospital Advanced Training Program in Nephrology offers the opportunity for six- and twelve-month rotations in Nephrology, for Trainees registered with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for Advanced Training in Nephrology, dual Advanced Training in Nephrology and General Medicine or Advanced Training in General Medicine. Limited positions may also be available to applicants enrolled with other Specialty Training Programmes or to overseas applicants (subject to RACP and Medical Board approvals) who are currently enrolled in an equivalent Nephrology Advanced Training Programme and wish to gain further experience and Nephrology Training in Australia.  This programme provides comprehensive training in all aspects of Nephrology, including Dialysis and Acute Kidney Transplantation. In addition, this job also provides research opportunity and the opportunity to gain exposure in treating remote Aboriginal patients with Chronic Kidney disease.

FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
