Are you passionate about medical services and patient care? We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Physician to lead our multidisciplinary team in delivering top-notch specialist medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants to meet national, state, and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets.

Patient Safety & Quality Care: Champion patient safety and ensure the highest quality of care.

Education & Training: Provide orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers.

Clinical Practice: Operate within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Sessional and Casual appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Please note: Sessional (4 hrs = a session) contract only & will not be part time to allow for visa sponsorship

We currently have 0.3 FTE available with potential for additional hours / sessions in the future.

Other Conditions:
