Rockingham General Hospital is seeking applications from qualified Resident Medical Officers interested in joining our Acute Medical Team.

This 6-month fixed-term opportunity will offer suitability qualified RMO’s the opportunity to gain valuable on the job experience in an acute hospital setting.  

Rockingham General Hospital currently have vacancies in the following speciality areas:

  • Emergency Department
  • General Medicine
  • Additional vacancies across the hospital may be filled via this process

Working in collaboration with the Rockingham General Hospital multidisciplinary team, the RMO provides a high quality of clinical service to hospital patients under the supervision of clinical supervisors including Registrars, Consultants and other senior staff.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
