We are currently looking for a Consultant Physician in Medical Oncology to join our team at Rockingham General Hospital.
This is a recruitment pool to fill casual, sessional and fixed-term full-time / part-time vacancies, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
We currently have a 6-12-month fixed-term vacancy (up to 1.0 FTE) available, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Hours may be negotiable.
About the Role
You will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist oncology services to patients. You will promote patient safety and quality of care. You will also provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners and other health workers.
In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, you will work to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets.
You will work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
