This is a Permanent Sessional appointment for 0.1 FTE (2 sessions / 8 hours per fortnight).
We are looking for a General Practitioner to join our team in the Breast Assessment Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital. The Breast Physician works in collaboration with oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, allied health professionals and other members of a multidisciplinary team with particular emphasis on breast cancer survivorship and breast surveillance. Works within the Scope of Clinical Practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee. A Breast Physician working in the Breast Cancer Oncology Follow Up clinic is a member of a multidisciplinary team based in the Breast Assessment Clinic. They provide holistic best practice medical care and advice to women who are under the shared care of the Oncology and Breast Clinic medical teams.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
