About us:
Peel Health Campus (PHC) is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licenced beds, bays and treatment areas.
About the role:
General Medicine covers acute admissions mainly from Peel Health Campus ED, which are suitable for treatment in Peel. They cover a broad range of conditions from acute to chronic, with onsite input from respiratory, infectious diseases, psychiatry, and cardiology. The Mandurah catchment is large and diverse, so you can expect to manage a wide variety of interesting, complex chronic conditions alongside the acute presentations. We also have an amazing allied health team who work alongside us to aid in discharges and social issues.
As a Registrar within General Medicine, you will:
- Provide a high quality, patient centred care to patients
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to review the medical needs of patients within the hospital
