This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/10/2026.


Position Profile:
The position is in an exciting department with a vision to be a renowned plastic, and orthopaedic hand surgery centre. The fellow will develop experience in all aspects of hand surgery and wrist surgery. The fellow will be expected to teach & conduct research. The supervision of the trainees is a critical role for the fellow.

Successful applicants will be based at Fremantle and may be required to work at Fiona Stanley Hospital infrequently.

Area Profile:
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) 
is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
