Salary: MP Year 1-9 $352,448 - $448,210 p.a. pro rata or $675.62 - $859.19 per session (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances)

About Us: Rockingham General Hospital is a public hospital in Rockingham, Western Australia, in the southwest of the Perth Metropolitan Region. Our 229-bed hospital has an emergency department, operating theatres, medical, surgical and paediatric wards. There are also aged care rehabilitation, intensive care, mental health, chemotherapy, and obstetrics units.

About the Role: The Consultant Anaesthetist leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist Anaesthetic services to patients, promote patient safety and quality of care. You will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for Doctors in Training, health service medical practitioners and other health workers. You will work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee. In collaboration with the Head of Anaesthetics the Consultants work together to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targets.
