This is a recruitment pool to fill the following Public Health vacancies:

  1. One (1) Full-Time Permanent position in either Hedland/Karratha (Pilbara) or Kalgoorlie (Goldfields)*
  2. One (1) Full-Time Permanent full-time position in the Kimberley based in Broome
  3. One (1) Fixed-term opportunity to cover a period of leave between June-August 2026 in the Midwest (Geraldton) or Wheatbelt (Northam) – A perfect opportunity for short term professional development! **

Fixed Term employment can also be offered from this pool to cover one-off or temporary periods of leave.

  • *The successful applicant will have the opportunity to choose whether to relocate to Port Hedland/Karratha (Pilbara) or Kalgoorlie (Goldfields) but will be required to travel between all sites as part of the duties in the role.
  • ** The successful applicant will have the opportunity to choose whether to relocate to Geraldton (Midwest) or Northam (Wheatbelt) but will be required to travel between both sites as part of the duties in the role.

The ideal applicant(s) should be:

  • A specialist in Public Health Medicine, ready to provide their expertise in a rural and regional setting.
  • Someone who is committed to providing exceptional care to rural communities.
  • Have extensive public health experience and a history of having worked in Aboriginal communities and with diverse populations including CALD individuals.
