Salary: MP Year 1-9 $700.96 - $891.41 per session (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances)
This is a 5-year fixed-term position at 4 sessions per fortnight (0.2 FTE). In addition, there is currently funding for an additional 0.3 FTE available until 30th June (and potentially ongoing) for Work-Based Assessment Program. Applications are invited for both 0.2 FTE, up to a maximum of 0.5 FTE from individuals or to be appointed as a job-share opportunity.
Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG) is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS), one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

About the Role
We are seeking a suitably experienced professional to lead the development of Medical Education at Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG). In this role, you will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of medical education for all medical staff spanning prevocational (Interns, Resident Medical Officers) and vocational (Registrars, Senior Registrars, Fellows and Consultants) positions.
You will develop innovative medical education strategies based on best practice and targeted towards individual medical groups, cementing RkPG as a centre of excellence for medical education.
