WA Country Health Service (WACHS) are seeking expressions of interest for Consultant General Surgeons to work in Kalgoorlie Health Campus. Opportunities may arise in the Goldfields regions for casual, part-time, fixed-term and permanent appointments.
Consultant General Surgeons employed in WA Country Health Service will provide high-quality surgical services to regional and rural communities, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care across a diverse range of clinical settings.
As a Consultant General Surgeon with WACHS, you will enjoy a diverse and rewarding scope of practice that is often broader than metropolitan roles. Working within regional multidisciplinary teams, you will have opportunities to manage a wide range of elective and emergency surgical presentations, undertake endoscopy, contribute to service development, and provide teaching and mentorship to junior medical staff.
